My Clickbank Pirate Post Made No. 1 On Google

Getting No. 1 on Google search results is:

- who cares or what do you mean - for most people, specially my parents

- normal - they usually reside there first among zillions of results… for so called marketing gurus

- I can’t believe it …. that’s my case.

This listing is for my post from 3 days ago, i.e. also 3 days after I got my Clickbank Pirate package.

Even with my close to zero marketing experiences, I realize that getting there on an exact phrase “clickbank pirate” with competition below 20k is not a big deal. However, it gives me some confidence. If it was possible to get there once, it will be possible to do it again on more competitive phrases related to Clickbank Pirate membership.

Historically speaking - this post was published on August 7th. The next day it was listed on page 15 of Google’s results for broad match …

Between August 7th and today, my promotion consisted of these two methods:

- submitting the post/blog to various social bookmarking sites, starting with the most obvious like Delicious, Technorati, etc….

- posting on some forums using the links in my signature…

These methods are some of the traffic generating systems described in the Clickbank Pirate training area which is a part of the membership package.

Checking my results, I noticed that my second post from 2 days ago also made Google’s rankings…

Again, being listed on 20th page in Google is not so hot, but hey… I have to start somewhere.

Comments: the entire process of signing up to all these social bookmarking sites is rather tedious and takes forever. But in my case it is necessary for two reasons:
- money matters,
- haven’t found a reliable free service which will submit my posts w/o me creating accounts first.

What To Do Next: continue the bookmarking/linking process for Clickbank Pirate and start keywords research for other phrase with much more competition but better search results.
